Many people give all sorts of things, other than money, to our churches and the Chaplaincy. This often has an immense value that does not show directly in our accounts or on our balance sheet but nevertheless we could not function without it. We want to draw on all the skills, talents, time and in-kind giving to make our Chaplaincy successful. If you can contribute in any of the following ways we would love to hear from you:
- Practical Skills:
We need all the practical skills associated with running a big organisation with six church buildings and a house such as: builders, carpenters, decorators, electricians, plumbers, gardeners, cleaners, bakers, marketing experts, graphic designers, IT specialists, bookkeepers/accountants, musicians, singers, flower arranging, etc, etc. If you have any practical skills that you would be prepared to offer free or at a reduced price please send a message on our “Contact Us” page.
- Other Skills:
Many people have talents that do not easily fit under a “skills” heading but are nevertheless extremely important in what we do. This might include selling raffle tickets, selling tickets to events, gathering things to sell or include in raffles, being on the door, serving behind a stall, etc, etc. If you feel you could help out in this way please send a message on our “Contact Us” page.
- In-kind Giving
Many people contribute in ways that we call “in-kind” or from their own resources, free of charge. This might include printing out documents, providing transport, hosting events, etc, etc. If you would like to explore ways in which you can make an in-kind contribution to our work please send a message on our “Contact Us” page.
